Cancellation and refund policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This policy applies to every registration for an event organized by Mirage Loft, whether by voluntary contribution or paid. It complements the Terms and conditions. Each event's page states the window and fee that apply to it; the values below are those of our standard policy.

1. Paid events: refund window

For a paid event, you can cancel your registration yourself, from your account, up to 48 hours before the event. It is then refunded minus a $5 administration fee, which covers the fee the payment processor keeps.

2. Paid events: after the window

Less than 48 hours before a paid event, registrations are no longer refundable. You may transfer your ticket to another person: write to us at least 24 hours before the event with that person's name and email address. The new holder must meet the same conditions as you (age, and any access condition the evening carries).

3. Voluntary-contribution events: no window

For a voluntary-contribution event there is no window: you can cancel your registration yourself, from your account, at any time before the event. A contribution already paid is refunded minus a $5 administration fee, which covers the fee the payment processor keeps. A contribution of $5 or less is therefore not refunded. If nothing has been paid yet, the cancellation is at no cost.

4. If we cancel or move the event

If Mirage Loft cancels an event or changes its date, every registration is cancelled and refunded in full, with no administration fee. A new date, when there is one, is announced as a new event, for which you register again.

5. No-show

A ticket that is not used is not refunded.

6. Conduct

A person refused entry or removed from an event under the conduct rule of the Terms and conditions is not refunded.

7. How refunds are paid

Refunds go to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor; they usually show within 10 business days.
